I want to buy a house, what should I be doing now?

This process SHOULD be easy, but luck favors the prepared. When you have done the research, assembled the right team, and gotten your finances in order, the process becomes less painstaking. Below are three things you need to be ready and prepared for:

1.     Assemble the right team – Have the right agent, mortgage lender, inspector, and title team. Don’t know where to start? Find an agent that you trust to guide you through the process.

2.     Have conversations with people you trust – Hindsight is 20/20. Ask people who have gone through the process what they wish they knew at that time.

3.     Trust your gut – When things feel right, lean into that. When things need to explained, ask questions. When you feel confident in your process, you will confident in your decision. Trust yourself!

Luckily, you don’t have to be an expert to be prepared from start to finish. Lean on your team of experts to guide you through a successful real estate transaction. Remember, luck favors the prepared!
